The Keep Growing. Make Sure Their Smile Keeps Up

Invisalign® Teen

Invisalign First treatment is designed for

little smiles

Although adults can successfully complete orthodontic treatment, a teen’s jaws and teeth can respond quicker to orthodontic treatment, shortening their total treatment time.

Invisalign has changed 14 million smiles and you can trust their expertise in changing your child’s smile too.

Made up of soft plastic, they provide a more comfortable orthodontic experience, with no friction or abrasions inside your teen’s mouth.

Each week your teen will switch their aligner for the next in the set. When worn the recommended 20-22 hours per day, your teen’s teeth will gradually move into the desired positions.

Frequently Asked Questions

YOUR COMMON QUESTIONS ANSWERED BY EXPERTS.

Invisalign Teen works just the same as its parent system, INVISALIGN. The clear, plastic aligners fit over the upper and lower teeth like a small mouth guard, and gently work to move teeth into position. The aligners have been custom-made to your teen’s teeth, allowing for the growth and development of teenage teeth and jaws. This means you can be guaranteed a result that suits your teen’s facial profile.

Traditional braces require brackets on the teeth. These brackets can rub the cheeks and inside of the lips and create sores and ulcers. In close contact, athletes could suffer a mouth wound as a result of the braces. Invisalign does not need any brackets or poking wires. This reduces the chances of an injury to the mouth and makes close-contact play safer.

Invisalign Teen is most effective when worn 20 to 22 hours per day and changed every two weeks.

The answer is, there are no Invisalign food restrictions. You can continue to eat whatever you’d like as long as you take your aligners out first.

Simply use a spare toothbrush and toothpaste with a little lukewarm water. It’s important NOT to use hot water as this could melt and distort the plastic!
